dr. christine ostermeyer

Veterinarian, Medical Director

In third grade during career day, young Dr. Ostermeyer announced to her teacher and classmates that she was going to become a veterinarian. She stuck to it, and has now been a full-time veterinarian for Noah's since 2003!

Dr. Ostermeyer grew up in Pike Township in Indianapolis. Her family moved to Florida for two years when she was in high school, then back to Indianapolis. She attended Purdue University for her undergraduate studies and stayed there to receive her DVM from the veterinary school.  After graduation, she found the perfect job at Noah’s and has been happy ever since.

As a vet, Dr. Ostermeyer particularly enjoys surgery. She likes working with cats and ferrets. At home, Dr. Ostermeyer lives with her husband, Robert, and their daughter, Ivy, and a group of feline family members.  Between work and spending time with her family, Dr. Ostermeyer enjoys boating, gardening, and bike riding.

Veterinarian

Sarah Schroeder Blair graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999, and then she went to South Florida for an internship in small animal practice at Hollywood Animal Hospital.  This 24-hour emergency and referral practice convinced her to stay in the warm weather for 7 years as an associate and intern mentor. Dr. Blair then moved to the Chicago area to be closer to family, and she found a wonderful practice, Family Pet Animal Hospital, located in the Lincoln Park area for 6 years.

A job change sent the Blair's to Dallas, Texas, where Dr. Blair has been working at a terrific practice for the past 3 years. Yet another change brought the family here to Indiana, where they plan to stay!  Dr. Blair is thrilled to join the welcoming doctors and staff at Noah’s Animal Hospitals, especially working in the little house that makes up the Carmel location, where she instantly feels at home. Dr. Blair is board certified in canine and feline practice through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and loves being back at work. She can’t wait to meet and care for your furry companions!
