NOAH'S WEST SIDE ANIMAL HOSPITAL
Noah's Westside Animal Hospital is the second practice to join the Noah's group. It was purchased in 1987 from
Dr. Ted Parker, a retiring veterinarian who started the practice in 1959. Since its inception, the practice has been providing complete animal health services for dogs, cats and exotics, including preventive and general medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics boarding, grooming, premium and therapeutic diets and pet supplies. Our goal is to continue to be the trusted resource for the people and pets of the Indianapolis area, providing exceptional care and unparalleled service.
Over the past 50+ years, our veterinary practice has seen many changes, but the one thing that has remained the same is the dedication and commitment that each member of our team has to providing the best veterinary care available to every patient we serve. This is evidenced by our long term affiliation with the American Animal Hospital Association, with whom we have been accredited for 25 years! What this means for you and your pet is that you can count on us to consistently adhere to the highest standards of care with each and every interaction, ensuring that your companion always receives the quality care and individualized attention he or she deserves.
Since taking over the practice, we've worked tirelessly to maintain the flawless reputation that Dr. Parker worked so hard to establish. We've developed an affordable, highly effective system of care that is designed to meet the changing needs of our patients as they navigate through each life stage. Our goal is to help your pet stay happy and healthy, and to take the appropriate measures necessary to extend his or her life so that you can both enjoy each other's company for many years to come. Whether it's a routine wellness exam or a complex surgical procedure, we're prepared to work with you, every step of the way!
We invite you and your pet to come by and visit our practice, take a tour of our facility and meet our caring, compassionate staff. We believe that once you do, you'll want us to become your veterinary partner for life! We look forward to welcoming you to our office soon and to serving you for many years to come!
DR. MARY GRABOW
Dr. Grabow knew she wanted to be a veterinarian ever since she was in the 4th grade. Her love of animals, people, and medicine has inspired a 30-year-plus career in veterinary medicine!
Mary was born in California, but moved to Connecticut when she was only one year old. In the 7th grade, she moved to Indiana and has lived here ever since. She started working as a kennel assistant when she was only 14, and worked her way up by filling any position that she could.
As a veterinarian, Dr. Grabow particularly enjoys client education, preventative care, behavior, and training. She also has a special interest in reproduction and purebred dogs; she says there’s nothing better than performing a flawless c-section and helping puppies come into this world!
At home, Mary lives with her husband and two children. Her kids are active in Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H, AKC dog shows, and sports. Mary’s husband is in the Indiana National Guard and has completed two deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. The family has a multitude of pets: three dogs, a guinea pig, three cats, three lizards, and three African Thigh Spurred tortoises.
Outside of work, Dr. Grabow likes spending time with her family and traveling. She also loves sea turtles, and even got to see the turtles lay their eggs on the beach during a recent South Carolina family vacation!
