Noah's Animal Hosptial has added
ophthalmology to the list of advanced services offered.

Noah's Animal Hospital and 24-Hour Emergency Center is pleased to annouce the addition of Dr. Deena Stoner to our Staff.  Dr. Stoner is a 1988 Purdue graduate with advanced training and special interest in ophthalmology. 


Dr. Stoner has been with the Noah's family of hospitals since 2001 and sees a preponderance of eye cases.  She performs a thorough eye exam, discusses and offers therapeutic/surgical options. 

 

Dr. Stoner is available to see eye cases every Tuesday at our 
Noah's Animal Hospital and 24-Hour Emergency Center. 



                                                                    Common eye conditions
 

Glaucoma:

  Pressure inside the eye which becomes so high that it damages the optic nerve. The most common cause of blindness in middle age dogs.

Cataracts: 

 


Opacification of the crytalline lens which may be caused by genetics, inflammation, infection, aging or injury.

Keratoconjunctivitis sicca (Dry Eye):

  Decreased volume of tears.

 Eyelid disorders:

 
Abnormal carriage or confirmation of the lids, third eyelid or conjunctiva.

 Corneal Disorders:

   
Abnormalities of the anatomy or transparency (clouding, pigmentation) of the cornea.
