Noah's has been steadily growing since 1982, when Dr Michael Thomas founded the hospitals. We also understand that preventive care is crucial to the health and happiness of your pet. We'll educate you about important practices, such as getting a heartworm test on your cat or dog annually, using preventative heartworm and flea medications year-round and, of course, the best plan for vaccines that will keep you and your whole family safe. We also provide extensive and timely reminders so that you won't miss these vital aspects of your pet's healthcare.

We offer "Puppy Packs" and "Kitten Kits" for each new puppy and kitten who visits us. These packages will address your pet's individual needs and help formulate a wellness plan designed to give your new friend the best chance at a long and healthy life.

Special Procedures

Our veterinarians have years of experience in a variety of specialized surgeries and diagnostic protocols normally only found in a specialty practice.. Because we are a general practice, we can provide these high tech, quality procedures at an affordable price.

- Orthopedic surgery, including the Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) procedure for cruciate ligament repair
- Ultrasound, echocardiography and endoscopy
- Laser surgeries, such as feline declaw procedure and soft palate reduction

24 Hour Care

Pet emergencies don't just happen during normal business hours. That's why our Central Indianapolis location offers 24-hour emergency and critical care services with a licensed veterinarian and medical support staff whenever you might need us. We are here for you and your pet, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Because we value our partnership with your veterinarian, we work closely with our referring clinics to insure the best and most appropriate care for your pet's emergency and critical care needs. You and your veterinarian decide whether it's better to leave your pet with us until the crisis is over or if your pet needs to be returned to your regular veterinary hospital.

Grooming Services

We'll make your pet look just as great on the outside as it feels on the inside. All of our hospitals offer a full range of grooming services. Noah's is the only veterinary practice in Indiana to offer Shedding Rx Treatments, a revolutionary grooming process that minimizes shedding and gives you a virtually "hair free" home.

Accreditations

5 out of 7 of the Noah's Hospitals are accredited members of the American Animal Hospital Association - a distinction held by only 13% of all veterinary hospitals nationwide.

AAHA is the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the United States and Canada. AAHA-accredited hospitals are evaluated on 900 standards in the following areas:

• Quality of care
• Diagnostic and pharmacy
• Management
• Medical records
• Facility

Why is this important to you? Because being an AAHA-accredited practice means the following: 

• The standards require hospitals to provide diagnostic services (X-ray and laboratory) so that they can quickly and accurately diagnose your pet.
• The standards focus on the quality of care in the areas of anesthesia, contagious diseases, dentistry, pain management, patient care, surgery, and emergency care.
• Accredited hospitals have an onsite pharmacy (another standards area) so they can begin treatment immediately.
• AAHA standards also require that medical records be thorough and complete, which helps our veterinarians better understand your pet’s medical history and how past health issues might be impacting their current medical status.

The standards developed and published by AAHA are widely accepted as those components of veterinary practice that represent high quality care. The standards are periodically reviewed and updated to ensure that they remain consistent with evolving knowledge and technology.
